Hello all,
There is a circular looking canister that is on my firewall of my 1972 olds cutlass supreme. It is located next to the voltage regulator and I would like to know what is it?
Anyone have any ideas?

I think you are talking about the Charcoal Canister. It is there to absorb the fuel vapors left in the carb after you shut down the engine, (I think). Of coarse with all the smart people in here someone will correct me if I am wrong.
