Horsepower and Torque???

I am in the process of building a 1968 350 Olds engine.I have a 490/490 lift cam, true double roller timing chain,hi volume oil pump, stock pistons and valvetrain,Edelbrock performer intake,650 cfm carb, stock #5 heads and a set of Dynomax full length headers.I'm wondering what horsepower and torque numbers i'm looking at.Also what else should i do? Thanks.

I would think with that set-up on a 68 350 you're looking in the mid 300's for HP and close to 400 for torque

350 HP with a Performer and stock heads is pretty optimistic, IMO.

I'll agree. I was thinking high 200s, low 300s myself. All the power is in the heads...port'em, replace'em...but thats where the power is.

Anyone know how the 7a heads stack up against the #5's? I'm running just about the same set up Olds69er except I've got 10.25:1 compression pistons and the 7a heads.

BTW; good choice on the intake and carb Olds69er.
