I think it is too big for an 8 to 1 350. Just my opinion, but i tend to be very conservative with cams in 350s in a heavy car. You do have a little gear and headers, so it will probably be OK, but IMO throttle response will suffer. It has ten degrees too much duration, IMO. The idle will be pretty tame.

The stock cam is so mild (.400/194@.050) that an upgrade should increase power. The question is will it make enough difference to justify the cost and effort? Maybe. If you add 15 HP and 20 ft/lbs for $400, is that worh it to you?

This is what the 260h comp sounded like on fast idle towars the end it slows down. If you want a little bit more "feel" of power i would go to a 3.42 gear that will pack a bit more of a punch . I would say 3.73 but some people do not like the rpms at crusing speed.
This is what it sounded with manifolds and quieter mufflers and it idling at roughly
650 rpm
that cam worked very well in that 9 to 1 combo on my 72.

Thats sounds nice my cutlass sounds pretty close to that.
. still wondering if a cam is worth it without rebuilding all of engine....thank u for clips

If it aint broke dont fix it Find a good core a build it over time and keep the stock one as a good running backup for if something happens. A cam swap with the stock compression and pretty much no other mods really wont make a big diffrence.
