1975 350 Coolant Change

I would like to do a rad and engine coolant change in my garage.
No issue draining the rad and containing the coolant. I want to drain the engine as well, by removing the block plugs.
Any suggestions on containing the coolant when removing the plugs? I don’t want it all over my floor.
Thanks

Big drain pan and do one side at the time.

Don't open the radiator cap and pull those plugs first. The vacuum with the cap on will slow the drainage.

When refilling you might want to raise the front of the car to allow air to escape out of the system.
