Site “Amazon” span?
This I started to get Amazon ads when I go to a sub forum. Mostly “Parts For Sale” Page. I’m using an iPhone and iPad.
Anyone else having is problem?

Most advertising on web sites are based on your search history/habits and or paid advertising. There are ad blockers you may be able to use on devices that eliminate the ads. I have not run into any issues using my iPhone 5s without ad blockers

I usually get Amazon ads when I browse our site too. I'm always checking part numbers on Amazon or Rockauto when I'm brainstorming my next projet. Interstingly, right now the ad is for personalized license plates because yesterday I was trying to figure out what license plate to put on the front of my truck.

Yes and they’re annoying as hell. You have to close the pop-up and then manually go back a page. It does it randomly whenever I open any thread, not just for sale threads.

You know, I think IB Automotive updated their software recently. Those pop-ups have started appearing on the Ford truck website I frequent too. It seems to only be a problem with mobile users.
I was confused at first. I thought the ads referred to were the ones in the margin. I almost always use my work computer to browse so I only get those pop-up ads when I rarely browse with my phone.
The guys on the Ford truck website mentioned a program called Clean Master available on Google Play Store. I downloaded it on my phone and used it. I haven't noticed any more problems, but like I said I rarely use my phone. I can provide the link to the Ford website discussion if anyone is interested, it's quite lengthy (10+ pages).

These ads are actually a huge problem all across the entire internet, not just our network. All publishers have been getting hit hard with these for the past month or so. We're trying really hard to tamp them down.

Thanks for the info Jose.
It's a bummer that scam artists prey on internet users that way. I guess there have always been dishonest people and there always will be.
BTW, I like your banner. I guess it's Photoshop artwork from Deviant Art? At first I thought it was Mercury astronauts in front of a U2...
