oldsmobile book prices on Amazon!

If I found that they sold for the big bucks mine would of been listed on there in a New York minute.
It does have a lot of good info and factory literature reprints in it but it's not much of an actual nuts and bolts resto guide.
Your local library may have a copy, I used to check out Chilton's manuals there all the time as youth.

While I'd much rather keep those (3) books in my collection .....
I can think of several other things I could use/need much more at the moment ... if they were in fact bringing big money.

They really put high prices on old media, in hopes they find a desperate buyer.
Only those are the ones to buy them, perhaps they are in another country or location that gives them no other choice.
The Cars & Parts book I have two - got them for $5 each from Half-Price Books about 5 years ago.
There was an old "Minibike Handbook" that I enjoyed when i was a kid. I found it listed there for about $60. I doubt there would be much demand for that one!
Another funny find was last year I was looking at the 1997 "Titanic" movies on Amazon to see if they had any new releases with new interviews, info on making the movie, etc. After the 100 year anniversary, the movie was rereleased in 3D then.
I noticed the DVDs cost around $10-40 depending on how many discs and what format they are. Perfectly normal.
My jaw dropped when I saw new and used VHS versions listed at over $100!
I have several new unopened and used VHS copies that I will now keep and help fund my retirement...
I routinely see them in thrift stores for $5 and under.
