How serious is rocker panel rust

im thinking of buying a particular 1968

442 but the only major rust I can see is on the rocker panels on both sides. Not including repainting the car, I’d like to gauge the cost of having someone replace the rockers. If I have a ballpark idea, I can factor that in on a purchase price. Here are photos. Any advice is appreciated Thanks —Billy

That's not the rocker panel, it's the bottom of the front fenders. That location is not structural, so while it isn't pretty, it also isn't fatal. There are patch panels for that.

I would expect to pay quite a bit for a repair like that. I had a few shops look at my 71 98 before I painted it and they quoted me $3k+ for a scuff and shoot paint job. I ended up taking an auto body course in the evenings. It was an excellent class and I spent about $1200 total for paint, supplies and the class.
