OHIO Piston help

I cant find anything worth while about the Ohio Piston company, other than they went out of business. I need help finding the compression of a set I have for a 394. The part number is 741-P. This is a + .060 oversize set. Any help from somebody with an old Ohio catalog would be great. Second question- do these pistons suck in comparison to other piston companies for street use? Good or bad dealings with them? Thanks

You might try contacting Tony at Ross Racing. If anybody would know about these pistons he would probably be the guy.

Looks like a shallow dish .
10.25 to 1 compression with '62-'64 number 23 heads .

I'd say they are much better choice , than offshore made pistons available new today .
If you're doing a stock rebuild , an excellent choice .

I had a set of 0.060 over 455 lo-comp Ohio Pistons in an engine 20+ years ago. Never any problems with them.

Egge Machine is the #1 source for old pistons both cast and forged especially in the odd sizes.
