This has a very cool potential when done.

Welcome to the group... It's always good to have a solid metal base to work with... Looking forward to the final paint work... Good luck with the project completion...

That's awesome!

How did you get the lacework pattern? We look forward to seeing it once it's done.

we bought a panel of lace from the local fabric store, took awhile to find one without alot of flowers in it. Tape it down, spray the paint about 12-18" above it.

Did you spray the POR 15 or brush it on? I've used it before and it works GREAT, even if you have to brush it on!

i brush it on, less mess. Once the paint is done, i get to tackle the interior and trunk. My wife bought me some lizzard skin to coat the floors.

This project is on hold until May, gong to Florida for work. I'm ordering more flake and clear coat to finish for the car show season.
I'll be using Wet Wet Extreme for my top coat clear.

Yes mine being from South East North Dakota, mine doesn't have much rust either, just surface rust in few places and front floor pan has 2 holes. It's definitely a project, but all the trim is there, no dents, has original glass with no cracks. Only thing missing is the original 330 rocket. Here are pics of mine
