Newbie to the page, Always been an Olds Guy
Hello,
Just recently signed up as a member after lurking for some time. Have had Oldsmobile's since 1993, but just recently got back into them. Started with a 1959 Super 88 Holiday 4 door, next was a 1969 442 4 speed, then came a one owner 1968 Cutlass S convertible, followed by a 1971 Cutlass 442 clone. Had a 1992 Vista Cruiser wagon once I had kids. Now that the oldest is in college, I have started building again! Purchased a 1964 Cutlass Holiday about a year ago, been going through it and getting ready to fire the new motor this weekend. Had a 1965 442 4 speed car fall into my lap about a month ago. Figured I needed to get something for my retirement, shes's rough, but all there. Here are a few photos of the cars.

Thanks for the warm welcomes. Getting ready to break in the SBO 350 today. Car was bought with a SBC in it, was able to find a SBO 350 from a 68 Vista and had it rebuilt. Has been sitting on the stand since Dec. of last year. Here are a few more photos of the 64 and it's progress since Aug. of last year.

Break-in of the new 350 went well. Had to tighten a couple of hose clamps, but nothing else. Feels good to have a new motor that is ready to go. Spent the better part of a day figuring out my idiot lights. What I did learn are the LED light bulbs do have a negative and positive side. Replaced them with a standard 57 light build and all is good. Looking forward to getting the front clip installed and buttoning up all the loose ends. Hope to have this ready to go for Spring.
