Hellfire Oldsmobile symmetrical port cylinder heads

Looks like the best of both worlds O & C . DX power for the win!

What do you do when you want to build one of the most badass Oldsmobile powered cars in the country and need a set of heads capable of making big power? Well, you build your own of course! After countless hours of design, programming, and machining Here they are! The Hellfire Oldsmobile symmetrical port cylinder heads. I started down this road about a year and a half ago when I wanted to build this car but after a conversation with https://www.facebook.com/groups/2688453731241379/user/1388332396/?__cft__[0 I quickly found out that there were no available cylinder heads available for making the power I wanted. The design went through countless revisions and iterations to get where they ended up today. I can’t say how many times I deleted my file and started over, I ended up a revision J if that tells you anything. They have a fully dry deck with external water supply with a decent amount of internal water area. These are much taller and wider than your typical Olds head to provide better port to valve approach angles. There is still lots more to do, custom valves and valvetrain. Soon these will Be off to Bill Travato at BTR performance for all the finish machine work and assembly. This is going to be one killer small block Olds!

Very nice. Lots of skills go into cylinder heads that work. It will be interesting to watch them develop.

Sorry Canadian. Facebook is blocking or it could just be me. Says 1 off, but once you have the cad program??. I knew you racers and builders would love it.

Jonathan Day - On facebook https://www.facebook.com/jonathan.day.376 Must be a hard core racer. Not my expertise. Bill Trovato to add valve etc.

One day, someone will be 3D printing thier own Olds heads.

Who is this Jonathan Day cat? Google pointed to JJ Da Boss from MSO. I find it hard to believe that he's trying to build a SBO.

Don't shoot the messenger! On Oldsmobile Max Performance in Facebook. Bill Trovato share the post. He is finishing the heads. I saw somewhere he a racer in the northwest.

Hunt brother's are running SBO with great successes.I believe one SBO is like 2000 HP. With Nascar or HP DX block.

[QUOTE=fleming442;1431219]Who is this Jonathan Day

He is on facebook
He is a Olds enthusiast and judging from the cylinder heads he has a good set of skills. The fact that he is working with Bill T speaks for itself.
