Anyone know Ahuja Rovic? He's running a saffron 67 Cutlass in DYO. Went a 10.88 yesterday, but has a bunch of 11.0x times on the results.
I read up on DYO, but don't quite get the comparison to <insert class here>. Some were comparing it to Comp Elim, some Stock or Super Stock, but it looks like regular old bracket to me? Then, there's Pro DYO? WTF?
I watched the awards last night. Frieburger and Finnegan gave the Firebird away to a daughter that was playing crew chief to her dad. Hits right in the feels.
I don't understand the 8.50 cap on some of the classes. And, that goes the same for 10.0 in some aspects. I need a 12.0 class. It's not the fastest, but I'm also not going to cut up a real 442 for a cage. Most of my hackery can be undone if it ever goes full restoration.

The class is dial your own, running bracket against yourself. They were looking for the smllest spread in the times submitted over the week. Not a avg like all the other classes.

Yeah, i figured it out . HRDW, has picked up some of their rules and added a stick class.

was just looking those up and seen the stick class.
looks like added to few classes of no slower then 9.99 cert, everyone else into street machine eleminator bracket.
Well, see, that's where things get tricky. I don't know that everyone will be lumped into SME. The way to win, as I see it, is to have a really f-in quick car for Unlimited or an 8.50 or 10.0 car for just about any other class because they're capped at those ETs.
i entered Street Race BB/NA, so i could run earlier in the day, and get on the road. Now, I'll be relegated down to D for no cage, and run last.
I'll still do it for fun, though.

I did it last year, and boned it in Indy- blew the trans. It's a 67 442, 468, 4sp, 9" locker
Gonna try again this year. Learned a lot on last one. I rode shotgun/crewed for a friend in 2019, and I was hooked.
