1954 Super 88 generator bracket

Lucky me. Mine was deceptively mounted quite well and solid on a broken generator bracket. Any hoarders out there or advise on getting fixed or replaced? I'll check ebay, but just hands to ask anyway.

well, that was a short hunt. Disaster averted, hitting the mail truck tomorrow. It was probably one of you guys selling it anyway.

It's nice to find the correct replacement part.
In case something gets complicated, the group number is 2.277; part number 566693. It fits 1952-1956, and is cast iron, so that old one could be nicely brazed (to not melt the parent metal) if needed.

thanks. I have a couple friends at work that have good welders for this. I'll probably get it done just to have it in the state parts bin.

I'm surprised it broke where it did, not much strain there... I'm glad you found another part, sometime life becomes easy but not often.... Tedd
