Dyno numbers are dyno numbers. Track performance involves a lot of variables that can have a large effect on how a car E.T.s. I.E. : chassis prep, tires, weight and driver just for starters. The same engine in 2 different cars could produce a huge variance in E.T. So what is the point of saying dyno numbers need to be backed up with on track performance? Frank

455 Dyno results with new Edelbrock 60125 Heads.

Just incase anyone is interested in potential torque and HP with the new 60125 heads here you go. Engine built for jet boat and built with recommended parts from Bernard Mondello in Corona. It has performer intake, SRP 60 over pistons, eagle rods, Howard roller cam with 4-7 swap, Harlan Sharpe rockers, QFT 850 carb.

Keep in mind this engine was built for non race jet boat. Here is article from March Hot Rods magazine featuring my engine.

What's your point of stirring up BS ? When did you become a administrator? This is a old thread ! I don't have any problems with Mark. I don't think he has any with me.

I don’t think Bernard dynos much anymore so, to my knowledge he’s never done a back to back.
The new head is worth 15 or so over the Gen II. I’ve done the same 455 combo a number of times, normally makes 505 or so. Same combo with the new head made 519. BTR got similar results on a few he’s done so far as well.

if you go to the pictures at the bottom and click on it he describes what he feels the problem is. He doesn’t like the valve seat to throat interface and throat size.
