I don't know where Kryta got his, but I found mine at the old performance parts swap meet at OCIR in about 1981. When OCIR shut down, that became the current Long Beach performance parts swap meet.

Based on where Joe P got his manifold, I am guessing it was leftover from a racing program. That makes me think it didn't escape from the factory. It likely ended up in a corner of the shop after something newer and better came along. When the racing program was disbanded, the parts remained in the corner and someone spirited it away later and it was sold.
