Just imagine what it would do with a set of Peyton's billets and his LS intake.

 

40+- year old Batten cylinder heads. 4.400 bore 4.400 stroke "square" engine configuration.

 

It will be interesting when Peyton's heads or one of the other billet headed engines are at this stage.

It takes a fair amount of effort to get a 1000 horsepower out of a 540 in. anything. Kudos to Bill.

 

Haven't seen them around much lately.

 

I’ve personally seen 900+ from Battens at Bills shop on the Dyno many years ago…that’s with a single 4 on a cast intake

my 2018 REC 373 made 550 on his Dyno. Later with advancing the cam and some different headers it made almost 590. his Dyno isn’t generous

1.88 per cube from a big cube na motor is impressive

 

The end is near! Concensus is the final sign! Seriously though, very impressive build from BTR.

 

I would really love to see the heads and intake as well as the cam specs on this one. Sounds like a monster Olds.
