HELP PLEASE 65 Dynamic 88 rear sway bar

Trying to find a rear sway bar for a 65 dynamic88. Found only came on police cars that year. Research says up to early 70's B,C bodys will work with spacers. Measures out to be 43"-45" for factory bar. Wanting factory look due to time invested in keeping car stock looking and keeping car MADE IN AMERICA parts and companies as the car deserves. Any help with parts or info is much appreciated...

The 1965-70 B-body cars use the same rear lower control arms as do the A-body cars. The difference is that they are further apart due to the wider frame and track width. The OEM rear bar only came on the RPO B07 Highway Apprehender cars, so your chances of finding one are slim. People HAVE used the A-body rear bar with spacers between the bar and the lower control arms to make up the difference. This will work but imparts a twisting force on the LCAs that they were not designed to handle. Even aftermarket companies sell a version of this. I'm not impressed, but that's just me. In any case, you MUST weld the boxing inserts into the lower control arms first.

You might try measuring up a 77-96 B-body bar. I have a feeling it might work but I'm not sure about your cars year.

i used an A body rear swaybar on my 66 dynamic 88 convertible,it's 4 inches narrower than a B body,i used a piece of 2 inch square tubing as a spacer on each side.installing a rear swaybar was the single best improvement i made to that car as far as handling.night and day difference
