Muncie shift levers needed

Folks, I have a 66 442, I put a 69 m-20 transmission in it, however the shift levers in the later model are for bolt mounted shift levers not the stud mounted like the earlier shift levers. I only need two levers for 1/2 gear and 3/4 gear. Anyone have a coupleto sell?
thanks
Andy

Andy, I believe that the only difference in the levers is the size of the hole for the stud/bolt. You could probably open the center up to allow the levers to fit.

I tried a drill, that metal is seriously hard, ended up using a dye grinder to open them up a bit, enough to get on the levers etc but ended up wallowing the slots out more than I wanted..my fear is the will eventually get sloppy, so I figured I would get the correct ones for the trans.

You need to hook up with "oddball" on here. He's good with amateur machining.

Look up "Wheelz" on the V8buick site. He is in florida and likely has the correct parts. Apparently has a connex or two filled with myraid parts.
