I am looking for something in driving range to Asheville NC. I have a bench with armrest but turns into a problem getting a new interior. I am opem to a split bench or going buckets.

I have a rust free bench seat and can ship with Fed Ex in 3 boxes, price on the seat is 200.00 complete

 

For 1969, a "split bench" didn't exist, which is a seat that is functionally two buckets that touch in the middle and look like one seat. The options then were buckets, the bench with armrest, or the bench without armrest.
The 2 door vehicles had benches with folding backs, some of the bigger 4 doors had fixed. Those folding backs were two pieces so they would fold inwards and forwards, is that what you mean by split bench?

 

Long as your on that topic could a fixed/ sratto backed front B - body seat be converted to two door usage by installin latches /hinges ?

 

My problem is I can't get a "S" seat cover for a bench w/armrest, only a Supreme cover which is different. So I may have to try to sell my seat and get a regular bench seat. I will keep you posted as I progress.
