15 inch Olds hubcaps

I put disc brakes on my 1965 Olds 98 4 Door Hardtop which makes the original 14 inch rims incompatible. During the years of this restoration, I came across 4 original 14 inch hubcaps which was exciting. But the disc brake conversion has me about to resign to 15 inch wheels as I don't think any 14 inch rim will work now. I have a set of 15 inch rims on the vehicle now and I am looking for a set of 15 inch hubcaps. I found a website that says they have millions of hubcaps but would like to see if I can find something from a member. I have seen 1971 Olds 98 hubcaps that have the red rocket in the center which would work for now. Anyone have some they will let go or know where I can find them? thanks.

Apparently, I only have 2 sets. I must have sold the GM ones I had on my 75 Chevy Caprice years ago. Here is the first set, they're in good condition with no curb rash:

Here's the other set. Some have curb rash, I can sell you all 5 or the best 4. These ones aren't as heavy as the others:

The set on top I had on my 71 98. The set on bottom I had on my 64 98. They're all 15 inch wheel covers. Let me know what you think.

15" hubcaps for 1965 Olds 98 4 Door Hardtop

I have a set of factory "wheel covers", which I'm pretty sure are off of an Olds 98. I'll check on them and get back to you. Thanks, Bob.

Some 14" rims will fit disk brakes, think they would be early 70 cars. Have a set of 14" rims on my 70 442, there actually Buick rally wheels but you should be able to find regular steel rims in 14".

ClassicMuscle still gives me hope on 14 inch rims but I don't see how. I like Olds64 covers with red rocket and I like Paladin31's set too. Can I ask how much in this thread? or PM? Olds 64 how much for red rocket set? Paladin how much for your set? And if anyone can suggest a 14 inch steel wheel that would be amazing. Here is problem I think. I used the kit from SSBC which works fine but has large calipers. I think they give you a thunderbird rotor. So I measured and centerline to edge of caliper is 7+ so 14 inch out unless maybe I hang smaller calipers somehow? If anyone has opinions I would welcome them. But I will still buy both those sets of caps in case I need to go 15 inch. if I can swing. Thanks. Craig

Tiger, I sent you a PM.

BTW, what 15" wheels do you have? Were they the 15" wheels available on your car OE, or did you have to get them from a salvage yard? I just want to make sure these wheel covers will fit. Hopefully someone can chime in on wheel cover fitment.

65 Olds 98 wheel covers

I have been concerned that the wheel covers will fit my wheels. For now, I put the stock rims off of a 1984 Silverado on the 65 Olds. Not sure why they even bolted up but they work fine. So, I know there is a gamble on fitting 1971 Olds wheel covers on these Silverado rims. But, if 14 inch rims are a lost cause, I am going to have to go with 15s and if 1971 Olds wheel covers won't fit on the current 15 inch rims I am using, then I am going to have to find 15 inch steel rims, OR, do what I do not want to do, which is buy aftermarket rims in 15 inch or larger which will make my grandfather gag from heaven. any thoughts?

Your Olds and the Chevy truck share the same wheel bolt circle, 5 x5".

A 15 inch wheel cover should fit a 15 inch steel rim, shouldn't it? is the valve stem location an issue?

Tiger, the valve stem location shouldn't matter. The wheel covers snap into the wheel and are symmetrical on the backside regardless of the position of the valve stem. Check it out!

BTW, PM sent.

Tiger my apologies, I must have sold the 15" wheel covers at some point in the past as I am unable to find them now. Best of luck in your search
