If you're doing a concours restoration you'll probably have to get those hose clamps from a parts car. If you aren't concerned with originality just get hose clamps from your local auto parts store. Don't waste your money on the hose clamps at Harbor Freight.
Here is a clamp I have...came from a '67 Cutlass. Super nice original clamp w/no pitting, etc. Beadblasted clean and professionally re-phosphated to the original finish.
You will have no worries buying the one Patton pictured in Post 8. He's a skilled restorer, his descriptions are accurate, and you will be happy with anything he sells.
You can use the 68-72 clamp that works great, Fusick has them and that diagram showing it bolting to the valve cover but it will not. It bolts to a studded bolt in the second position on the intake manifold. The studded bolt is the same as the studded bolt in the first position on the drivers side intake. The one on my car.

Thanks, I am sort of looking for original due to the rolled edge and bends it has. But may resort to the later version.
Ok,don't blame you @ all but they are hard to find as you well know. I will reiterate my statement about the clamp not bolting to the valve cover. When you do find one and you will see what I'm saying.
