Heater hose fitting for Edelbrock 7111

Heater hose fitting for Edelbrock 7111

Hello all!

I found that the fitting for the heater hose that was on the cast iron intake does not fit the diameter of the hole in the Edelbrock 7111 intake manifold. It is a non-AC heater hose adapter. Has anyone been able to find the adapter that fits in this application?

Go to your hardware store and get a 3/4" thread to hose nipple. Pretty sure it is 3/4", not 1".

I do not know exactly what sizes you are dealing with, but can't you use a brass pipe bushing?

We posted at the same time. Doesn't the original fitting have a small flow restriction hole in it? I am under the impression that the small hole improves heater output, but a regular hose barb will work.
