Hey guys, I'd like to get the heads bolted on to my 455 build but the core engine didn't come with the alternator and AC head bolt studs (see pics below). I bought a new set of ARP head bolts but the kit didn't come with them either.
If you know where I can buy them new OR if you have a couple used I could buy, let me know ASAP. I could pinch them from my small block but I'm not done driving it yet

 

I found these on eBay. Anyone ever use them?

If you take a pass on ROCKETMAN269V's offer and the repop's, let me know if you want NOS stud bolts. I have 2.

 

The eBay link above is actually Inline Tube but folks are saying their head bolts are questionable quality. You didn't have any problems?

Tempting but I already bought a couple used. Out of curiosity, what would the price be for your NOS stud bolts?

I didnt buy it on eBay. I bought it when they were in Englishtown, NJ swap meet. I bought 2 of them and have it on my engine right now with no problems. The other bolts on my heads are ARP head studs. Inline Tube bolts and ARP studs have the same torque readings.

 

Ely, I'm a little new to this so didn't know they had moved. Glad you haven't had any problems.

Motorcity IS Inline Tube. I'm surprised that they claim fits 1964-1987, since the 1977-up motors use the larger 1/2" heat bolts and these are 7/16.

 

That seemed kind of sketchy to me too. Not that I ever worked on a 77-up but that was a pretty wide range.
