Fly Wheel
#2
Merry Christmas
I would steer clear of any "inexpensive" chinese new flywheels and used originals that are burnt and cracked in the area where clutch disc contacts the flywheel.
Last week I placed and ad for a near mint OEM Oldsmobile flywheel on local minneapolis craigslist for sale. It was used in a jet boat with only about 100 hours on the engine when previous owner blew it up. This has never had a clutch installed on it and is genuine GM circa 1970 motor had E heads...
I do still have it

Just so happens I have an NOS GM 350-455 flywheel, still in the factory box. $400 plus shipping to you from 75154. Pretty heavy so it will have to be packed in a very sturdy box. PM if any interest.

I bought a new China auto flywheel. Sent it off to be balanced with all parts. Guy called me and said the weight fell off the auto flywheel I told him to weld it up and has been working great on my race car sense. I bought a set of 8 H-beam rods from Mondello had them checked were just fine so always check anything you buy off a site or EBAY like I did. You can get a good flywheel off a Olds jet boat as they never have a clutch on it.
