Try Camcraft in N. Carolina. They made a new cam for me about 5 years ago for my 1964 330 and it worked fine. He can make a cam for most cars but he is also into Oldsmobiles.

A while back they made a camshaft for a workmate's son's Pontiac GTO. Ran like a scalded ape. Sorry, it's only thirdhand info, but it's all I got. If I needed a cam that these guys could do, I wouldn't hesitate to try them.

I would recommend CamCraft Cams also. A friend who had a cam ground for a 57 Olds J-2 is very happy with them. I will be having them grind cams for my 57 Olds J-2's. I am sure they can grind a #400165 cam or something close to that.
I have talked to "Hunter" and he is very helpful. I think they are also fussy about the cam blanks they use. With the flat tappet cam and lifter failures from a "big name" cam grinder, camshaft blanks is something to think about.

Sent a message to Camcraft Cams asking if a camshaft could be cut to factory specifications, with advertised durations. Waiting to hear back.

Supercars Unlimited, which sells factory spec camshafts, has a long delay supposedly due to their supplier having problems obtaining US manufactured blanks.
