Anyone in Seattle have a Starter i could TRY?

I'm on a limited budget, i "THINK" my starter is going/gone out...

Still cranks the motor, but cranks slow, and the starter wire gets mega hot & starts smoking. A friend said this is an indication that the starter motor is drawing too much power and has gone bad.

Would like to try another starter before i go and buy a new one.

Does anyone in the seattle area have a starter that would work with a 330 (not sure if 350,455,403 etc is the same or not) & manual tranny that i could borrow to see if that solves my starting problem?

Thanks-
Ben

Take it to Auto Zone and they can test it on or off the car.

Any auto parts store will test a starter for free.
