1972 Hood Lock

I have a 1972 Cutlass Supreme that has a hood lock assembly on it. This is the two piece cable one. I am looking for the cable that runs from the hood to the plastic connector (including the plastic connector). Does anyone know where I might find one?

I would check w the usual suspects, fusicks, supercars unlimited, thepartsplace, or eBay.

If your seeking used check w oldspackrat on this site he may have what you need.

Thank you Fusick has a kit but I noticed the cable is one piece. I sent them a message to see if it will work.

All the aftermarket ones are one piece. Getting one of the 2 piece cables is really hard and expensive. Those cables were a 2 year only part (71/72) and not widely installed as options. Replacing with a one piece cable is practical, unless your car is a concourse restoration and over 990 points. I don't believe the vendors sell just the cable though.

Retro,
I appreciate the referral! I have the cable from the plastic connector to the inside box but not the one he is seeking.
