Tri Carb

Ok; I’m 1,350 miles from you. Would you consider $4000 in order to cover my gas/lodging? (On the painted intake)

thanks,

Buddy

HI
I was out of town most of the week.. Home late last night
You are correct NO I will not sell the AU (painted intake with block offs) and carbs etc for $4000 Thank you for the offer

I would sell the AZ BARE not painted and NO Block offs , with the carbs etc for $4000 CASH
The AU Painted intake with block offs NO CARBS etc.. $3200 or $4999 with carbs
This is picked up near minneapolis
Buyer will have to pay their own travel expenses

Carbs

OK, thanks for your reply. Could you explain the difference between the AU and AZ manifolds, exclusive of the paint and block offs? Thanks!

Buddy
The AL/AU tri carb intakes have a uneven flange for the center carb on the front of the mounting pad. They fixed this on the AZ version with a straight mounting flange. The AL/AU intakes have about .070 of pinch/sealing area and can lead to leaking. The factory fix for this was to use a sealer on the center carb gasket. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the AL/AU intakes, they work as well as the AZ. The AL intake has a coil mounting boss in the very rear of it and makes it harder to mount. The AU/AZ have the coil mounting boss up top next to the rear carb and makes for easier mounting. There is no performance advantage between the 3 versions.
