Looks installed then barely used, like not at all.
$10 easy fix for your 6.1" WP blues where factory casting is not needed.

PULLEY 3 groove WP Pulley
KF, mates with KC crank pulley
for the MEDIUM LENGTH 5.6" pump according to database
but it was with/on the 1972 350 with the above 6.1" WP- probably misaligned.
How about $10 ?
