I'm selling an original 1969 442 / Hurst Olds open face alternator #1100853. 37 amp, date code 9C21. This was for a non-AC car. Very nice condition, it has been in my basement for many years. The case has been painted but there is no corrosion or pitting. It has the original fan and pulley. The stampings are crisp and clear. It probably works but the bearings sound squeaky so I am selling it as a core. This is a great candidate for restoration. $650 plus shipping. I'll accept USPS Money Order or PayPal plus their fee. Bob, I think you posted the wrong number. Your alternator is an 853 not 583. I'll fix the title for you if you'll edit your post. Nice piece at a very fair price, good luck with the sale!
