I saw where someone has a 70-442 open face alternator for sale on ebay at a buy it now price of 600.00. If needs a rebuild, so that is really pricey. It is the #1100880, non a/c 37 amp model.

I have one somewhere in my storage same 37 amp non A/C application open face for 70-72' 442. Will be listing it here as I get to it. It has been totally restored completely, internals, hardware, re-skinned alumn. hsg., etc. Alt/fan/nut/washer, no pulley. Not going to be cheap! Please do not call me or Email me as I do not know were it is at yet. Thanks

 

What are you looking to spend for a 1100880 alternator? I have an super clean original off a 9/69 build 442 car. It is the correct open face and fins in back. It is stamped:

1100880 37A
9G9 12V NEG
