How did you get the discplacement of 472? Not being smart, just curious.

4.156 X 4.25 X 8 = 461.23 = "461". According to this calculator.

Any difference in power, would be insignificant.

Well, those are the two "bored out" discplacements I am familiar with but I have heard of stroker combos that use rods from chevy or ford so I wasn't sure, I guess that might be possible.

If that was the case, it would be an unusual combination and I would have expected a more complete description.

And if "80 over" pistons were readily available, and commonly used, Oldsguy would not have asked the question.

I have heard that you can go .120 over on some engines. Probably Chevys.

The rebuild info including piston size should be on the engine rebuild receipt?

You can go either 1.100 or .110 on d/dx deisel blocks. I know that that is a big difference, just can't remember which, I think its the 1.100, because from 350 you can get near 500 ci, so I've heard.

It's a 72 Fa block with E (68-70) heads.
