Hi John,
I have a 70 Cutlass (post) with a th400 trany. Do you happen to have the front and middle parking brake cables and the passenger side (outside) window sweeper? Thanks.

Hello Ely, welcome to the site! I think I missed saying that when you first signed up

Sorry, I don't have the items your looking for. I know you can get the emergency brake cables for a reasonable price at Rockauto.com Go into their catalog and go through the menu's to your car. Look under Brake/Wheel Hub, then Parking Brake Cable (Yes I recently looked this up!)
They've got a good selection from different manufacturers.

I'm thinking Fusick or Year One for a repop window sweep. I do have the driver side door from a 1969 Post car. I don't know if they have a right and left side for these, but if your looking for original I can check to see what shape it's in. John

Hey John,

Just wondering if you have any body parts for a 65 Cutlass? Quarter Panels, Hood and trunk. There are several more but I will start off with those.
Thanks
JoJo

Do you have a set of 70 S grills did not see any in the pictures you had posted. Looking for good clean pair or a set that can be repaired as long as they are not in too bad of condition. Thanks

dhartly72, I thought I had a core engine with those still on it but may not. I'm going to look some more this afternoon.

Atdog, sorry I don't have the window sweeps you need.

Tucsonbob, What year of car are you working on? If it's a 1968-72 I should have the vent. I've got several dash boards in the garage with them still attached. Do you have the manifold under the dash already? Is it just the center vent you need? If you have a Chassis Service Manual for your car I think it will have pictures of all the parts. I believe the AC car has a different plastic manifold than the non-AC. John

John,

I don't have anything but the non ac dash in the car right now. I have a '70 442 w30 but with a '72 engine.

OK, do you plan to change out the kick panels and make it look factory, or do you want to change just enough to make it work? I can see wanting to keep an W30 original, but living in Arizona the AC would be real important

Do you have a Chassis Service Manual for your car yet? If not, I'd purchase one before doing much work to your car. I've found them to be invaluable working on my projects. John

John, I do have a manual and the guy that is doing the work is real good. I just got this car and we started out with the thought of rebuilding the the front end, replacing what was needed and cleaning up the engine bay. We are down to the engine being in the front end and got to thinking this would be the time to put ac in the car so that I could drive it full time. Since the engine is not original I am not as concerned about being correct throughout. My thought is to buy a unit from Classic Air and then use the existing vents in the dash and knock out the center vent delete and install an ac vent from a ac dash. My dash is in very good condition with the exception of some idiot cut a hole to the right of the ac vent delete plate and installed a stupid clock even though the tictac was there!!

Thanks John, I bought a set on screwmeinthea**Bay and the guy sent me a set that looked like crap (shock mounting holes torn and wrong bushing size). The pictures and the discription showed and said they were near perfect. When I receved them I called him about it and he said "oh that is a stock picture just send them back", ofcourse it doesnt say that anywhere. Now its going to end up costing me another $20.00 to get my money back less original shipping ofcourse
Gary
