Where to find GM Argent silver wheel paint?

Hello, does anybody know where or what I can use to repaint my steel rims back to the original GM Argent silver. PPG 8586 No longer available & the Krylon 1403 Dull Aluminum spray can also not available. Looking for any cross reference paint code or new PPG code or anything in a spray can .

I would take them off and have them powder coated. For me, the quality and durability of the finish is far more important than trying to get the exact color shade GM used. GM didn't try as hard as you think to make sure the color was consistent and would vary slightly over the years and even from one batch to the next.

I travelled the country extensivlly, from the 70's thu the 90's. I would buy GM SS and Ralley wheels to sell at flea markets. Would buy singles and truck loads. If they had not been repainted, color match was pretty spot on.

Hello ijasond, great idea powder coating. Would you happen to have a company name & code for powder coating wheels close to GM argent silver. I found on some earlier posts Tiger Drylac USA inc 0980170 Anthracite smooth gloss. However company still there but paint code obsolete. So if you have any info on latest powder coating code & company, it would be much appreciated.
