I am having my 67 Cutlass painted.
My paint code is ...S-2....Champange Iridescent
My body shop looked in there paint computer and cant find the color.
How can I find the correct recipe ?

 

First, find out what paint the shop uses...if it is a name brand, they should have a color service or tech line to help them. If not, I can take a pic for you and give you a formula in Spies Hecker!

 

First, your paint code is "S", not "S-2". Each major paint manufacturer has a different code number for Champagne Iridescent:

DuPont - 4826-L
RM - A-1908
PPG - 22813

Any auto paint supplier should be able to cross reference these codes to a current formulation.
