This place carries the correct paint

http://www.hirschauto.com/Paint/departments/1/

as do many of the repo places such as "the Parts Place"

Many discussions on this board of how dark or light Argent really is. Depends on the batch of paint at the time of application.

I am restoring a set of 14" SS-2's. As I remember them from the day. They were like a cast iron natural shade of gray. I am going to order the paint from Supercars Unlimited. I got a set of caps from Fusik- awesome. I am finally going to have a REALLY nice set of 14's. With the right tires 14" can look great.

Seems many of the aftermarket argent paint for the SS-II rims are too silver instead of a charcoal type grey or are semi-flat instead of a flat gloss.

My Dad has original argent SSII wheels on his car, so I'm planning to compare these to his to see how close this paint matches the original paint when I have a chance to go up and see him again.
