Paint is starting to bubble up in couple spot likes this around window trim and drip rails. Any thing that can be done to slow or stop it?

 

Looks like corrosion underneath the paint, only solution is repaint the area.

You'd have to strip the paint, fix the rust and then paint it. Unfortunately, rust is generally worse than it appears.

Main way to prevent that is to buy the car new and keep it in a dry garage and out of bad weather.

 

That sure looks like a fresh paint job to me. Is the paint recent?

 

Looks like contamination to me. Maybe slimed up trim, lifted & masked instead of removed? Are there other spots adjacent to trim or tight quarters that may have been tough to clean & prep? Not saying it isn’t rust, just saying what it looks like to me.

Did you wipe those areas with a rag that has WD40 or something that has silicone in it, looks like it might be Fish Eye.. Tedd

 

almost looks like bleed thru from using paint stripper and not getting it all off.i have used aircraft remover for close to 40 years and have only had something like that happen once.it was around a door handle that didn't get removed and it bubbled around it.ever since i remove everything before i strip the paint and rinse with lots of water.

 

Those are rust bubbles and look absolutely nothing like fisheye.

 

Actually, those look like poor surface prep under the paint. It is unlikely there is rust there. In any case, the only solution is to strip to metal, properly prep, and repaint.

Does the car have any other paint issues? The trim should come off if you are considering repair.
