Question 1975 Hurst/Olds air cleaner lid paint: gloss, semi-gloss, satin?

I need to paint the air cleaner lid on my '75 Hurst/Olds W-25. It's not going to compete at Pebble Beach, but I want it to look as correct as I can with what I have to work with. Is the black finish supposed to be gloss, semi-gloss, satin, or flat? I'm leaning towards gloss or semi-gloss, but want to make sure.

I recall them being semi-gloss. Smooth, but not really shiny.

I'd go with a nice semi-gloss, they do have a 'hint' of shine, but not like a 'gloss' shine.

Here are some examples of pic's I've took along the way below, unfortunately they are all 74 H/O's, but I'm thinking the finish to be the same.
