Oldsmobile f-85 1961 Back glass rubber
Hi
I have a Oldsmobile f-85 1961 4 doors. Since 1 year I search for a back glass rubber for the car.
I bought one from SteeleRubber, but it's does't fit.

I already contact RubberTheRightWay (SteeleRubber product), Metro Moulded Parts and Soffseal. No one have this rubber.
My car it's almost ready to go back on road and I need this rubber.
Can someone have a idea where I can find one?
It's the same rubber for a Oldsmobile f-85 4 doors 1961-1963 and Buick special 4 doors 1961-1963.
Thank you for your help!

I bought window felts for my 71 98 from a different company and I received the wrong ones. They sent me window felts for a 71 Caddy. The front window felts were close but the rear ones didn't fit at all. I called the customer service number and they wanted pictures. When they found out something was wrong one of their techs did some digging and found out I had been sent the wrong parts. When they sent me the right parts they worked like a champ. Perhaps you recieved the wrong part?
If this isn't the case then maybe you could take the car to a window shop and they could use sealant instead of weatherstripping to secure the rear window. BTW, sorry I can't see the pictures you posted (it's on my end not on yours).

I tell them about all the difference between my old one and the new one.
They refund me, but not much...
I asked also to make a special one for me, they don't do special order.
A sealant can be a good idea, but the original rubber have a slop for the molding and it's very large.
I will continue to search!
