Lost an Olds friend

Last night I learned a fellow Olds fiend and good friend died in his sleep. My good friend Bob Massey died in his sleep last night. He was from Westport MA. I'm still in shock here after learning of his passing this morning. Rest in Peace Burnin' Rubba Bubba. He died too young (somewhere in his early 40's)

Sorry to hear that, Trip, especially on a family-oriented holiday. He went the best way though. We should all hope we go as peacefully.

Always bad to hear of an Olds or any car friend passing. I remember last year when Col died. I knew him only thru this board, but I know he had affected a lot of us here.

So- even though I may not have always agreed with some of you here on classicoldsmobile, you've had an effect on my life. Long may you all run.

Sorry for your loss, Trip. Yep, he was way too young to go.

WITH rue my heart is laden
For golden friends I had,
For many a rose-lipt maiden
And many a lightfoot lad.

By brooks too broad for leaping
The lightfoot boys are laid;
The rose-lipt girls are sleeping
In fields where roses fade.- Hausman

Very sorry to hear about that. Especially so young....I remember when 40 was ancient, now it's just scary.

Sorry to hear of your loss. That's way too young! That's how The Colonel went too - heart attack in his sleep, they told us. I'll keep you in my thoughts!

If in your life you have had the company and companionship of one good friend you are lucky indeed. Sorry about your loss
