Lost park... then lost reverse

Ok so the other day I backed the Olds into the garage and could not put it into park (TH400)- its like it wouldn't shift into that last spot. Then today I went out to work on it and now I have no reverse! The top spot in the sequence is netral and then drive down from there. I pulled the header and pipe to access the linkage and nothing seems looks or looks like it has moved lately, is this something I can fix or is this internal ya think?

Its on the floor- I pulled the center console to check and everything moves normally. No binding inside or underneath.

Sounds like the adjustermenter on the equalizer [frame to trans link] is loose and out of whack, if column shifted

I think I figured it out, there is a little clip on there by the bracket- almost looks like a body shim that was spinning freely and had come loose. I pulled the cable out of the bracket and re-assembled it and it's much tighter and I can cycle through all the gears now. I'll hook the exhaust up tomorrow and see if it really does work.
