Help, I am putting a ls1 in a 65 f85/cutlass/holiday.. I am having trouble getting it to sit on motor mounts because of the k-member and stearing linkage. There is one I find on Hot Rod mags page. I am trying to find out Who it is? and a contact number.

Is a olds A-body different that a chevy A-body at the k-member??

There is a section at the bottom of the forum for non-olds powered cars. Check there for multiple ls swap threads.

 

The only difference is the engine frame brackets. There are a few folks doing LS swaps as mentioned in the non-olds powered section. You may want to PM on of them.

Well the LS is finally in and running. It was not easy. It took the Street & Performance out of Mena AR. we tried the hooker from jegs for a-body cars and it did not work. Real Pleased. I put a small cam in a 5.3 lm7 and a 4l60e trans. Now own to Brakes to stop the beast......
