Radiator hose for 70-72 Cutlass with LS

What are people using for their upper and lower radiator hoses using a dual pass radiator? I looked at my local parts store with some mock up bent wire but i couldn't did ones that had the right bend. I ended up buying the flex hose but my upper hose has been pulling at the clamp because of the flex in it.

What about two L's, to suit, joined at the center. Brace the joint to the motor and cover the joint with a decorative/ concealing thing. I wonder if clinch-on CV boot type clamps can be used on radiator hose. Tpically they are seen on lo-pressure hose of small diameter such as the PS return hose. You could surely glue the hoses to the joinery piece in addition to clamps, to help ensure it stays together.

I just saw a similar kit in a catalog. I might try that if I can't find one.

I posted the lower hose over at the "other forum". But for top hose, I've soldered together 1 1/4" copper pipe fittings to make a rigid pipe connected with rubber hoses at each end. Works well for complicated shapes since you can get various angles and clock them as needed.

found this:

For the upper hose, the upper hose from a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse turbo all wheel drive is almost a perfect fit

I just got back from O'Reilly looking for an upper radiator hose. I took a picture of my setup now and did measurements and went in with that. I found one that's basically perfect. It's a Master Pro 20795 hose. It has basically the perfect bend. It wants to flex one way is just slightly but not much. Now I just need to put my new clamps on and fill it back up.

If you want to get rid of the lower flex hose, check Dayco 71013.

I ended up getting Masterpro 21736, it's a version of NAPAs 7499. I found some people using Napas 9070. The one I got looks like it drops down after the thermostat. I haven't installed it yet.
