72 cutlass with chevy 350 motor issue

72 cutlass with chevy 350 motor issue

I have a 72 cutlass convertible that i brought a air delete plastic piece from opgi to install so that i could keep the heater and do away with the ac.The mechanics at the shop are saying that the air delete will not fit.Is it because of the chevy motor or is there modification that can be done?

The air delete plate should have nothing to do with the engine swap, its an A body. Do you have pictures of what your up against?

Yes that is the exact one i purchased.They said it comes over to the right too far and wont fit.I dont have pics because the shop has the car right now but when i get it home i'll post some pics!
