Chevy mounts cause yoke to stick out

Just dropped a chevy 350 in the 72 Cutlass S. Motor mounts cause the engine to sit closer to the front. Yoke on the driveshaft sits out the tranny a little. Should I modify the mounts or buy a longer yoke?

Trans type

It's the original 350 trans with an adapter plate connected to an 87 k10 350.

Both were removed to make the new mounts fit.

I don't see a problem if you have around 3/4 of an inch sticking out. That gives the driveshaft room to move in and out.

Thanks, I forgot about having room to move.
