I'm looking at a '68 98 sedan and I'm not familiar with what the trim levels were that year. This one has an angular rear window opening, two spoke steering wheel, and the four buttons in the centers of the front door panels and seats. I haven't gone to see it up close yet so this is all I know. What trim level is it?

Looks like it might be a Holiday sedan, here's an interior pic. That b-pillar fooled me, I thought they all were pillarless hardtops until I saw that interior shot!

 

There was the Luxury Sedan, Holiday Sedan and Town sedan. The Luxury sedan was the top of the line. It had 4 buttons on the door panels as well as the seats based on the dealer brochure. The 2 spoke steering wheel was standard on all 3 models whereas a 3 spoke tilt and telescopic steering wheel with a rim low horn was optional.

That is indeed the Holiday interior. The Hoilday Sedan and Holiday Coupes were the only hardtops (pillar-less) and the only ones that used that trim design on the seats and door panels. The Town Sedan was the cheapest and the Luxury Sedan was the most expensive - both were pillared sedan. The Convertible was the most expensive Ninety Eight in 68. I've been on the lookout for a Luxury Sedan with the Royale package, which is very hard to find. That picture looks like a very nice car...good luck! Dave
