98 coupe

Does anyone on this forum know what was the last year OLDSMOBILE made a 2 Door 98 Coupe? And how many?

Coupes were made even in the late 80s. I don't know numbers though.

1990 was the last year for the 98 coupe. I will have to get into setting the pace for the numbers later.

I have never seen any 98 Coupes past the 1986 model year. Just saying.

I would agree! Wikipedia info was not accurate!
According to NADA classic they list 1987 as the last year for the 98 coupe

I think 1987 is in fact correct. The roofline design left much to be desired, but the 88 coupes of that era were quite nice looking cars. The 88 series coupes were made up to 1991. I owned a 1990 with the FE3 package, one of the best cars I've owned.

According to Setting the pace, 1987 was the last year for 98 coupes with only the broughams being optioned with the 2 doors. Production was 4207.

I'd say 1984, but only because after 84', they were all corporate fwd platforms, and no longer count as thoroughbred Oldsmobiles.
