thought it was funny as well. years ago I was looking at a part at a swap meet and offered what I thought was fair. the guy was offended and told me it was a "rare" part and wanted four or five times what it was worth. I told him hundred year old horses**t is rare but that doesnt make worth anything. I didnt buy the part.

Ya baby! Now we're rockin (pun intended). How much more original can you get than fossils?? Advertise them as OEM, in pristine 'unrestored original' condition. Just add a couple of 00's to your price and you'll have relic hunters beating a path to your door!

I seen a pair of mickey thompson valve covers for an olds for sale on ebay for 200. Wtf i bought mine from a guy at a swap meet 4 years ago for 50 bucks brand new i might add in the box. and i bought some 15 in. rallye wheels for 25 bucks with used slicks. Now that was a deal . Prices are getting outrageous on parts i have seen guys selling 15x7 rallye wheels for 100 a pair. it's down right insane.
