Flowmasters here

Hi my name is Chris. My friends call me Flowmaster because I go with the flow and I'm a master at it. I will be picking up a 1961 F-85 in a couple of weeks. The car is all original just needs some motor work. It will be my high school driver. I'll be posting pictures one I get the car.

Welcome Chris, look forward to the pictures. Buying a 61 F85 certainly is not going with the flow. It's nice to get younger folks interested and there are plenty of people to help you along the way. How did you come to chose going with an older car vs what most kids are driving today?

My dad showed me the car and I thought it was super cool and I really liked it. I chose an older car because you don't see them as often anymore so I thought it would be nice to be able to drive one around.

Welcome to Classic Olds Flowmaster, I think it is great that you have taken an interest in the older cars, should be a real head turner at school beside all the ricers. We need a few pictures of the car when you get time.

Put-r-ther Chris, nice looking car !!! You will have many years of fun in that car. For a young guy like yourself enjoy the ride. It will turn alot of heads. I would have been proud to drive a nice Olds like that when I was in high school. The guys here are great and will give you all the help you need to get the most enjoyment out of you car as possible.

Cheers
Eric H

Very unusual and nice car. Welcome. The cool factor is way up on this one and think of the insurance money you're going to save! You will NEVER park next to another I assure you!

My plans for the car are to restore it. It has a blown motor and the interior is cracking a little bit. And there are some scratches in the paint so I was going to repaint it the same color. Some of my friends call me flowmaster but not very often.

Wow! Looks pretty rust free. Are you in one of the "dry" states? We don't get to see too many original rust free cars in NH!

Very cool ride. One thing you'll find about older cars with bench seats - your girlfriend can sit right next to you.

Welcome. Now I'm not the newest newbie here.

Sweet Ride!!!!! Unlike any other car on the road. Be prepared for people coming up to you and asking what year and model is it.! You can be proud to say you own an OLDSMOBILE. It will bring up memories for the old and questions from the young. Take car of it my friend because you have a very special automobile......a piece of History.
