I already welcomed what's his face back in another thread but I forgot about somebody.
Welcome back Lady!!
Sounds like a Jerry Lewis movie line.

I think Rob was exploring the great Northleft?

See any Bigfoot vs. Flying Monkey battles on top of dormant volcanoes out there Rob??
You were away from civilization way too long or you would know why I ask.

This is how we catch-um! The one and only bigfoot trap deep in the Siskiyou National Forest. Although I don't know what you'd do with him after he's in the trap

No Flying Monkey trap?

Did you happen to see Rob around that thing John?
This makes sense now, I wondered why he was gone for so long.
I would guess that Bigfoot released him.

Did Bigfoot pick up your mom to take her out for breakfast in a Mack truck
Wolfman???

The Flying Monkeys picked up Toto and flew away with him basket and all.
I don't think they were going out to breakfast though???

This could get very very interesting.

Was that The Guess Who "Clap for the Wolfman" song about you Wolfman???

Hmmmm...both in Canada?... coincidence??

I think not!

I'm anti-haired.
I've never even tried but I may be able to grow a cookie-duster moustache?
My one brother is the opposite, looks like he's wearing a hair sweater when he takes his shirt off.

Many thanks - I am back physically, but mentally I am still over there.
I am FINALLY getting back to a somewhat normal life. I popped in a few times here but had no real time to post. Server was screwy also. Will post pics and details tomorrow - I left em at work.

I DID see bigfoot, but he was gone before I could get a picture of him - Bigfoots are FAST! I did get a shot of Paul Bunyon and a huge blue bovine...
I was far enough away that cell phones were just costly paperweights.

Shouldn't that be a flat rock???

BTW- Need to add Flying monkeys and baby werewolves to the movie cast.
It will be an epic to rival Gone with the Wind.
What's gone with the wind just before the chase starts in a classic Benny Hill chase tribute chase film needs only to be left to the imagination.
Be better than the other film that came out back then about Flying Monkey abuse.

Hey Rob, I'm no snitch or rat fink so I won't say exactly who's responsible for all the carnage.
You know that when the cat's away the mice will play... she did it!
Maybe you should of left some Bounce fabric softener sheets around before you left???

Hint- She's the new official Classic Olds calendar girl.

Lady may be envious so whatever you do don't hang that calendar in the garage.
Remember that if her and The Prettiest One ever meet there could and probably will be a big catfight.
Oops, just gave her away.

This could be lucrative?
They could open for the Flying Monkey vs. Bigfoot match.

Those two in a big mud pit, vinyl and convertible tops being ripped out by the roots.

Given that it was raining then, I could not tell. In fact Paul could have been doing that, too and I would not have been able to tell.. If both were at it, no wonder so much rain!

We now have the werewolf part:

Too much tequila on Halloween night does strange things......

I had enough of the FM's yesterday, so lets just leave them out.

I think the pronoun "she" kinda gives it away....

I guess he missed the threads that were lost forever in the great crash revealing the ancient lost cure for all ailments, location of the Fountain of Youth and the secret evil oil company formula for free clean high octane fuel made with water and baby Smurfs for our type engines with no modifications.

Too bad.

Lumberjack Satyricon

That Rob photo is downloaded and already in a highly secure online back-up vault as we speak.

The Lumberjack Song!
I just got it out of my head after years of therapy and now this.

I just watched it about ten times and It's in my head on an endless loop like an 8-track tape. I just smack myself in the head to change tracks if it sticks between them like they tend to do.
I'm going to be singing it all the time for months.
Last time my wife overheard me in the garage and when I crawled out from under the car her and the kids and dogs were just standing there staring at me with a shocked look of disbelief on their faces, dogs heads turned way sideways.

My wife just says, "He's the only father you have children"

Now I have to go to the group therapy 12 step meetings again.
Redgoat is my sponsor, talk about the fox guarding the henhouse.

I'll have to stand up and intoduce myself all over again.

"Hi, My name is Bluevista and I'm a Lumberjack"

"Hi Bluevista!"

Actually the pic is secured in a mayonaisse jar on Funk and Wagnalls back porch with the name of this week's winner of the coveted "Fickle Finger of Fate" award.

Do they allow animals to stay at the Bates Motel???

So here is the vacation scoop...
This was my 5th time to the Oregon / north Calif coast. I love it there and go about once a year each fall if no other trips are planned.

I was fearing having to fly on Halloween day, and for a reason.
Plane left an hour late. Apparently the cargo floor collapsed when they were loading the luggage, so it all had to get unloaded so the techs, armed with their duct tape and drywall screws, could get it all back together...

So I get to the car rental... Alamo used to be a great company. They now merged with Enterprise - beware! I reserved and prepaid for a full size car. I was stuck with an alitma - a poor POS intermediate for a touring car. It rode as if it had solid tires and bushings - road vibration and noise was worse than on a cheap prop plane. Back windows did not want to roll up well.

I slowly cruised the coastal highway 101 to Garberville, CA and returned.
I did storm watching, beach walking, 10 miles of accumulative hiking, ate a lot, drank a lot, and gained weight.
Pumpkin ale and pumpkin ice cream are delicious!!

I watched 2 large storms come in. One brought a tornado to Lincoln city, where I was a few days beforehand.
The first storm brought in 24 foot breakers - amazing when they slammed the rocks! The ship traffic in and out of the Columbia River was halted for 3 days. Decks to ocean front hotels were torn apart. Logs were tossed like sticks.
When i left Brookings, the next day a small earthquake hit just offshore there. When I got back home the second storm had dumped so much rain that the main highway was under water and was shut down.

See the photos for more!

Regardless, I still did not want to come home. I would loved to have stayed there and would still like to move there.

Instead i got home to a yard full of leaves, lots of due bills, and the Cadillac taking a whiz in the driveway (another thread)...
I hate reality (real life)...

Okay, lets see if the website gremlins will allow all this to be posted!

At least you knew you were in good hands when you saw the duct tape Rob.

What pics???? Edit:never mind.

Alamo gave our rented three months ahead of time SUV to somebody else and tried to give my wife a mini jap-trap.
We almost didn't get our daughter to college on time because of it.
They just said "Sorry" and then called the cops on my wife because she read them the riot act and was going to leap over the counter and rip their throats out.
I love that girl.

Sorry about the weather but it sounds pretty cool actually.
It will be a memorable trip I bet.
I remember when I was 12 years old getting stuck in a storm in the middle of the lake in a 14 foot boat with 12-15 foot waves like yesterday.
Ever really kiss the ground like you meant it?

Sandy put her car away a while back so it was dry and like summer here for the last couple of weeks, raining and cool now but it was the best weather we've had all year around here.
Thanks again Sandy.
Maybe you need to have Sandy arrange a vacation for herself then go as far away as you can get from her?

I met Marty Moose at Walter/Wally World??

The lunatic fringe??

That's silly, how could a cow be named "Gene"???
Cows are girls, it would be "Jean".

I have a lab with a bull named Rosie O.

It's named after former Irish-American NFL football player Rosey O'Grier.
